Dedicated to the coolest railroad that ever spun an Alco crankshaft!
Our goal is to preserve the history and memories of the Green Bay and Western Railroad and its affiliates. We are preserving historical documents and stories, photographs and artifacts. Our purpose is to make this information available to our members as well as the public through our magazine, GBW Lines.
We are a 501c, non-profit, Wisconsin corporation. Our magazine is in its seventh volume, we have introduced special run models to the market, we are currently seeking a restoration project, and we are creating our historical archives.
We invite your participation in many forms, from writing articles and submitting photos for our magazine, helping with the archives and cataloging the preserved GBW items, to assisting in the restoration of preserved GBW equipment, and developing accurate models of GBW equipment. We encourage you to join and become part of what we are building.
We accept electronic membership renewals and payments electronically via PayPal! Click the button to join the GBWHS, renew your membership, or purchase items.
