Pursuant to the recently-adopted Bylaws of the Society, for this year only, this election filled all nine positions on the Society’s Board of Directors with varying terms of office, from one to three years in length. This will produce staggered terms in future elections, similar to the U.S. Senate. Click here for the relevant section of the Bylaws. After 2013, future elections will elect three Directors every year for three year terms, as prescribed by the new Bylaws.
